Her Story

Michelle has spent her career doing one thing: making sure Spanish-speaking patients are fully heard, understood, and able to advocate for themselves in a healthcare system that wasn't built with them in mind.

With over 13 years of professional experience, Michelle is a Certified Medical Interpreter based in Walnut Creek, CA. She has worked with major health systems including UCSF Health, John Muir Health, and Kaiser Permanente, as well as community-focused nonprofits like RotaCare Bay Area. She serves the Diablo Valley in person and patients and providers anywhere in the US by video or phone.

What drives her isn't the business — it's the moment a patient's face relaxes because they finally understand what's happening to their own body.
